Current Exhibits and Programs
We offer a variety of exhibits and programs at both the Square House Museum and the Knapp House Archives.
Our current exhibit entitled “Rye During World War II” can be viewed in the Exhibit Room at the Square House Museum until Spring 2014. The collection on display consists of various military uniforms worn during the war by the men and women of Rye, letters and pictures sent home as well as various war posters, and vintage artifacts from the time period.
The exhibits shows the town of Rye during WWII and how the war pervaded every aspect of life .It also honors those Rye residents who served during the war. Don’t miss this wonderful exhibit!
