Time Travelers Summer Camp 2023

July 17-21, 2023

We have revamped our popular Summer Camp to introduce an exciting new theme! “Time Travelers Summer Camp” will run Monday-Friday, 10am-2:30pm, with plenty of outdoor activities included. The camp is for children ages 6-13 and located at the Square house Museum on Purchase Street in Rye.

In addition to our core program of colonial activities and Native American crafts, we will explore the history of Playland, Rye Town Park, and other green spaces in Rye. Campers will work together to build their very own park to be displayed in the Council Room at the Square House. Our camp is primarily outdoors with walking field trips.

cost per child is $250. We offer a 10% sibling discount.

Campers bring their own lunch and drink. Snacks are provided. We will have both indoor activities in the Square House and outdoor activities on the Village Green, at the Knapp House and with field trips.

Students will be organized into small groups with a student counselor. Campers will create their own group name, logo and cheer. Each morning, students will report to their counselor and will need to stay with their group, especially when we go out for walking field trips around Rye.
