The Rye Historical Society is dedicated to researching, preserving, and celebrating Rye’s unique heritage.

Located in the heart of downtown Rye, New York, our historic Square House Museum offers a dynamic and wide range of engaging experiences, including educational lectures, guided walking tours, school tours and programming, youth initiatives, community workshops, family activities, and many more.

All experiences are designed to foster a love of and awareness for our collective history, and generate sincere pride in the Rye community.
