Who: Hey there, future history explorers! Join the Rye Historical Society for an exciting adventure during the school break, specially designed just for you!
What: Get ready for a super fun food adventure where you can become a history detective and a kitchen magician all at once. You'll learn about presidents and American food through scavenger hunts, hands-on activities, and more. You'll also get to taste new recipes, cook up familiar dishes in cool ways, and even learn some awesome recipes!
For Presidents' Day, we'll dive into the lives and tastes of some of America's coolest presidents. Discover what they loved to eat, how their meals were made, and how food influenced their lives and decisions. We'll also introduce you to fascinating characters like George Washington's amazing chef, Hercules Posey, who cooked up tasty surprises!
